NWFA Under New Ownership and Directors
National Women's Football Association
The National Women's Football Association announced the retirement of
its sole-owner, Catherine Masters, in early November 2008. The league
was then purchased by the existing team owners to ensure its legacy.
The NWFA created an Executive Board of Directors to promote fairness
and equality within the organization. The 2009 NWFA Executive Board
of Directors consists of:
