The wait is almost over. On Monday, September 6 at 5:00pm, the 1999
ASU football season will kickoff in Sun Devil Stadium. The opponent,
Texas Tech, features Heisman Trophy candidate Ricky Williams (no, not
THAT one) and with the game on national TV, it will be an opportunity
for JR Redmond to establish himself as an elite player.

My prediction for 1999 is an 8-3 record, although a lot depends upon
the performance of Ryan Kealy. If he plays consistently well, 9-2 is a
strong possibility. However, if he falters then a losing record is not
out of the question given our tough schedule.
