Hi All,

I just found this group today and I'm very excited about the wing
concept. I also restore and build aircraft, so I like wings. I have a
bunch of questions about this boat.

Under what sailing conditions do you use the flap?

The drawings in the files sections show a constant chord 16' long wing,
yet WN1 has a tapered section also. Is this attached to the top of the
16' section? What is total length of the wing like this?

What did the wing end up weighing?

I found some speed quotes for WN2 with its' higher aspect ratio wing,
what were the speeds of WN1?

Thank you,

Phil Kite

The main wing can range from 15 to to 5 degrees at speed. I usually run 20 to 30 degrees of flap .Less if its blowing hard. We have found a chain and sprocket...
