In Waves, NC there is a windsurf shop near the Dairy Queen that lets sailors
park and launch on the intercoastal side. The water is not over your head for
about a mile or two off the shore. Good luck. Have fun.

I'm going with my family to the outer banks the last two weeks of July and would
