Re: [WindsurfKY] Re: Kentucky Lake

Hi CP,
Ended up sailing the Ohio @ Cox Park.. joined by Jesenko (first time river
experience for him), Sedwig, Bob H, Rick Lyons.. I had a great time, 7.6 all
day.. some guys were using bigger stuff early, but by 2pm they were blown off
the water.
I can't make the Hatteras trip either.. your Ky Lake wkend sounds good, keep me
posted. mp

Hey Mike,
Glad to hear from you. Did you make it to Patoka? Did you sail?

I had not thought of more reliable winds up near Lake Carlyle. I have
never been there. Growing up on KY Lake and Lake Barkley, that is the
only place we felt we ever needed to go. I wish I had thought of that
back in the mid 1980's.

Hey everyone,
I am starting to plan a weekend of windsurfing for October 21-23 on KY
Lake, for anyone interested. The winds should be more dependable, and
most of the boat traffic is gone. There is a group going to Cape
Hatteras the first week of October, but I can not get away for a whole
week at that time. That's a bummer, so this is my attempt at still
getting in some good sailing and some camaraderie.
