Hey Kenny!
Glad you joined the group, and glad to hear that you are into
kitesurfing. I have not yet attempted kitesurfing yet, but some day it
would be neat.

From my limited knowledge, I would have to say the Lake Patoka in
Southern Indiana would be your best bet. It has a wonderful beach that
would make for a great launching area. I am in Louisville, and think
that you are probably closer than I am, or about the same at 1:15
travel time. I went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago, but
I could give you directions if you like.

Do you windsurf also?

I hope to be able to go sailing at some point this coming Easter
weekend.
