Hey, everyone, I'm fairly new to windsurfing, having sailed my old,
dinosour size Hi Fly board for only one season. Although I am far
from proficient on the board, I'm anxious to upgrade to something with
the potential for more speed and am in the market for a used board. I
weigh approx. 210 lbs. and sail on Lake Erie in Western New York (so
no significant waves). I'm looking for a multi-purpose board that is
still fairly bouyant, since I'm still a beginner, has the potential
for speed (which is relative, I know) and is fairly meneuverable,
although I'm not concerned with doing tricks..

Winds vary here, from light and variable to Force 5,6 +

With all of this in mind, is there a particular size, volume and style
of board which I should be looking for? Any recommendations are
greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Jason
