I would say good "old school" as in not expensive board would a Mistral Malibu
or an F2 Comet class of board. Your the perfect size for having a really fast
bay board. If you do not mind lugging a LONG board a Mistral Equipe or Fanitac
Race Cat you would be HARD to catch with the proper size rig.

I wave sail in Florida... I have an 8.8 semi floater bump/jump for 15 to 25 knots for small wave days... & a 8.1 glass/poly sinker custom wave board for 20...
