Introduction to me and my love of windsurfing   Message List

Hi! I'm here to talk about windsurfing, I really love the sport and
I'm planning on getting on the water a lot more this summer than I
have in the past.
I'm looking to buy a used board and sail, I have an old 1980's
Mistral, but the board has a crack in it and it's 12ft long! I'm
guessing that ocean windsurfing is a lot different than on a lake.
I've never been on the ocean but I plan on it. would a smaller board
be more manageable on the ocean! I appreciate feedback and
conversation thanks!!!
i know there are 365 other members, c'mon!!!! talk to me!!!
