Hi everyone. This is my first post!

I've been given an old school Hi-Fly 100 windsurf and to be honest
its a bit of a muddle to me. I've surfed for a few years and i've
been given this opportunity to cross over into windsurfing for a try
only im having trouble putting the thing together!

Its got all the usual bits i imagine, sail, mast, board and some
mystery ropey bits. Me and a mate put it up the other day and had
trouble. How does the handle bit stick to the mast? is it held there
by the long thick topey bit with an elasticy thin ropey bit with a
hook on?

As you can tell, im real new to this sport, please, any help would
be good.
