That's a classic old skool fin vepoware.
As several other people have mentioned you'll find them pretty easy to lay
your hands on.
They have an inch deep block that slots into the groove, and a little screw
and square nut (which you put in through the - in ascii - [] bits) at the
front which holds them in.
Ring a few windsurfing shops in your area - they may have a few old ones if
you ask them to dig around. You should go polycarbonate to complete the
retro-grouch style of your gear. Wear a polyester tracksuit at the same
time to complete the look as you (and your mate) cart the board down to the
beach. ;-)
There's a bucket load of local shops in your area in a database on my site
(though you may need to be a member to do the local search thing - sorry
about that)...

Subject: [windsurf-uk] Re: Old Dog (and board), New Tricks
Thanks for all the feedback so far.
I'm in the middle of sunny Scotland - near the coast and a
watersports loch (more likely initial venue). Grateful for the
unexpected offers of kit, but the costs involved wouldn't be a
barrier to me buying better kit if/when windsurfing was something I
was going to "do". I'd rather see free kit going to someone with
interest/promise who's progress is limited through lack of cash.
For now, I'll be happy if I can have a go/have a laugh with this free
board, fully aware of the limitations and how it is not
representative of the latest gear. After all, the guy who first owned
it went on to greater windsurfing things ...
Seems like the only issue I really need to resolve right now is the
missing fin. I'm willing to go hunt one down, but what am I looking
for? Is my description (255 x 10mm slot, ascii-wise =[]======[]= ) of
a "classic box" or something else?
You guys rock =:)
