May 7th, 2pm at Slice and Dice?  I will most likely be there a little
early finding out how strange a plastic boat feels.

Sunday the 14th is Mother's Day... will be in Florida with a Mom and
Mother in law :-)

While we are at it, I will be at the Nantahala for the 12 hour race at
Tsali on the 20th.  The Sunday 21st is open all day for paddling.  It
might be a good day for folks doing the Masters Worlds to do a pickup
race on the top end of the Nantahala where it is shallow.  Aimee will
be there so we have a shuttle driver and timer if needed.

Memorial Day weekend - Anyone want to paddle the Pigeon?  A Monday
afternoon Ocoee run might also work.

Whos going to be at the cheat race?

I store my boats the same,under a deck, only thing I can recommend is
a cockpit cover to keep out birds and bees.

For those of you without inside storage - how do y'all store your
boats?  I'm thinking about UV damage over time.  I was thinking about
a boat bag but would this add other issues like heat buildup in the
sun?  The other thing with the bag is that I've seen wet gear on epoxy
boats in the sun cause clouding - so if my boat's in the bag and it
rains and then gets sunny....

Am I just worrying too much about all of this?  I've stored plastic
and old beat up composite boats in the sun for yrs but I just dropped
a decent amount of $$ on a ww boat and would like to keep it as strong
as possible for as long as possible.

Race #5 in the Northwest Downriver Cup will be held Saturday, April
22nd on the Skykomish River.

The course will be about 25 minutes long, from Boulder Drop to Big
Eddy, and includes some great rapids.

Meet at Big Eddy at 10:00 am.

Race Starts at 11:00 am.

Since then I learned that I had included invalid links for the results of
the Mulberry Fork and Locust Fork races. The links that were included in the
original E-zine mailing were (mostly) for the slalom races.

corrected for the Mulberry Fork race results. I am still trying to find the
