I apologize for the late notice, but the MADS series will begin next weekend with a set of races on the Codorus (water levels permitting) and some sprints/attaining races on the Susquehanna (no, its not flat).  I'm hoping to get some better participation in the early races this year - there is a cash prize for the overall winner of the series which put a sizable chunk of change towards Peter Lutter's new paddles as he won the series last year.  The races in the series (along with various other races in the Mid Atlantic Region) are listed below;

March 14th-15th - Codorus/Susquehanna Races - Organizer, Colby Zebel

March 21st-22nd - Tohickon Creek Spring Sprint and Classic, Organizer Chris Norbury and Hollie Noble

March 29th - Red Moshannon Race (non-MADS race)

April 19th - Cheat Narrows Race, Organizer Nathan Hamm and Chris Norbury

May 1st - Cheat Canyon race  (non-MADS race)

May 10th - North Branch Potomac Sprint and Classic, organiser Chrissy Zeltner and Chris Norbury

May 23rd - Lower Yough Race, Organizer Chara and Jess Whittemore.

June 20th - Tim Gavin Race (non-MADS race)

November 8th - MADS Final (Double points available), Tohickon Creek Fall Spring and Classic, organizer TBA.
