The recent team members have most likely already been dealing with
this... I had very good luck with BA for a couple trips with a
wildwater boat but have to guess our luck ran out.

A surfer friend let me know he has not been able to travel with boards
at all this year and specifically mentioned BA as one of the most strict.

BTW - I am going to fly with a golf bag full of kayak gear and 2-piece
paddles in a month or so (plus a couple old golf clubs so I can say
"yes, I have golf clubs!" when asked). Will let you guys know how it goes.
