Hello You Wildwater aficionados,

As plans firm up for the New England Whitewater Triple Crown
Championships, to be held in the Tariffville Gorge, Farmington River,
CT, on April 25th and 26th, a question has come up regarding the
wildwater race, which we intend to run as a "dual challenge" (i.e. two
boats start at a time). This was discussed on this network last
fall. Does anyone have a set of rules that govern interference, right
of way, etc. for such a race? If not, those of you who have
participated in such a race, what are the general guidelines/protocol?

By the way, we still don't have a wildwater race chair (we do for
slalom and freestyle), and though we will still have a wildwater race,
we could sure use someone to head this up, if anyone's willling!

Best,
Jamie
