If the proposal is followed through, in 3.5 years all Kayaks in the
worlds will be the monotype, all other obsolete in that competition.
This solves lots of the problems discussed and causes others. We, as
members of USACK need to study this issue, discuss and then weigh in
one way or another.
I am new to the sport of wildwater racing. (1 1/2 year vet!) However,
I have been a whitewater paddle for 30 years and have been a
professional boat builder in my checkered past. I do have opinions on
this monotype thing. I SO love this sport! I intend to listen to what
the true veterans in the sport have to say before giving my opinion.
