If you go to http://www.wwtv.it/eng/videoperdata.html and click on the Ivrea 2008 link (top one) you can find all of the videos - the latest is now the first Men's K1 sprint run including footage of Hipgrave with a camera on his head during his run, and JP. I don't have the times of the runs, but they run in numerical order - JP was 21 and Chris was 38. They have promised all of the sprint runs for each class over the next few days, with little or no exclusion of competitors. That's a big job, and I can't help but say what a great job these guys are doing. Of course, it also means the days of "my paddle jammed between two rocks on the bottom so I flipped and my skirt came off before I could
hand roll " excuses is coming to an end - its a sad event indeed. Still, if I never race in Italy again maybe I can continue to use that one for a while!

Wildwater Italia TV has posted video from the classic - almost all Men and Women's K1 coverage, and some coverage of the prize giving (almost anything beats coverage of the opening ceremony). The only US paddler is Tierney, who is going through what I guess is the only rapid of the race at 8 mins 23 secs into the video.
