Memories Forever
At the Spring WHPA meeting there was a burgandy colored picture book of the 2006 State Tournament floating around for everyone's perusal. Comments were very complimentary and the main questions were, "Who made this and is it possible to have something like this done in the future?" Dennis Keiser, the Eau Claire club techie and firm believer of Apple computers, is the master of the production. He also made a DVD featuring the EC club and state tournament. I asked him for some information about future productions. He shared with me the following information and costs:
" I appreciate the interest in the Photo Album and DVD's I put together for the State Horseshoe Tournament. If others are interested in purchase of either I can have other copies made and sent upon request. First the Wisconsin State Tournament 2006 photo album. This is a 26 page hardcover booklet of photos that I can have made in a choice of cover colors.......Black, Burgundy, Light Gray or Navy. Cost for other photo albums: $50.00.
With regard to the DVD's: I don't know which one you have since I made different versions. I made revisions to the DVD's created for the EC Horseshoe Club and re-designed them with the focus on the Wisconsin Horseshoe Pitchers Association. I have included the TV coverage of WEAU along with the gallery of photos. I will need to get permission from WEAU to sell the DVD to others. I expect that to be no problem since WEAU is being advertised by being included. The cost of each DVD will be $17.50 + $2.50 (case, printed cover, s & h) for a total of $20.00.
Let me know if there is any interest either from members of your club or from others around the state. I can be contacted as follows: Dennis Kieser, Den's Creative Computing, 413 W. Stanley Street, Thorp, WI54771. 715-669-5272
When visiting with Dennis, he said he would be available for the 2007 State tourney in Arena if there was interest. This is a wonderful memento of a truly exciting eventJ If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Dennis or Jane Smith.
