Jim was transferred yesterday to Froedtert hospital, and had surgery this afternoon. 

The break was just below the hip (again).  The doctors said that his first leg break and hip replacement had healed very nicely.  What they ended up doing was replacing the 2 shorter rods/plates in his leg with 2 longer ones - one on the front and one on the side.  Jim came through the surgery well, and they are expecting an 8 to 12 week recovery period.  As of right now, we don't know exactly how long he will be in the hospital.
