Jimbo--I,too, had a taste of hospitals lately. Had fluid on the lungs, short of breath, etc. Result--came home yesterday with a pacemaker. My heart
muscle was only pumping 20%, normal is 40/50%. Hopefully I will preserve what I had and thru medication perhaps the heart can be strengthened. Quite an experience. Will have watch my fluid and salt intake very carefully-plenty of limitations. I'm told I should resume pitching in 2 or 3 months. I feel fine but that is not always an indication of good health.
