Hello everyone,

Ken Heinritz called this evening to tell me that his father, Roger Heinritz, is very ill and is not expected to survive for longer than a couple of days.

As many of us know, Roger was having problems with his leg hurting last week at the State Doubles, and was unable to pitch. He saw a doctor on Sunday night and was diagnosed on Monday with acute leukemia. Because of his age, there is little that can be done for him, other than pray. Right now, he is being cared for at a hospice facility.

Please keep Roger and the Heinritz family in your prayers during this difficult time.
