Hi Folks,

 I visited Jim at Froedert Hospital West a couple of times since his accident.

 He has a broken collar bone, 3 broken ribs and a broken femer(upper leg bone) that has been pinned.

 It all happen on Thursday May 11th, I believe, when he collided with a car while riding his bicycle.

 The last time I saw him he was experiencing a lot of discomfort, as you might expect, and they were very concerned that he would catch pneumonia. So they gave him an epideral...)phonetically spelled)...which is supposed to lessen his pain so he can breath deeper and thereby get more oxygen into his blood.

 I am very sure , as Ken Kosky has said, that he would appreciate hearing from those that know him...and from those that know him from his editorial, "Down and Back" in the horseshoe pitchers news letter.

Jim had an accident with his bicycle. I don't know all of the details
but he is in the hospital in Whitefish Bay. He apparently has 4 or 5
broken ribs and is odviously in a lot of pain. He will probably remain
in the hospital for another day or so.
