This group is restricted to Okinawan Karate-Do Union members who are taking part in the OKU Kyusho-jutsu Certification Program. This method is called Wheeler's Kyusho-Jutsu to honor the late Grandmaster Allen Wheeler Ju-Dan, Isshin-Ryu Karate. These were the methods taught by Master Wheeler to his senior students at the Powell Dojo combining the explosive power of Okinawan Karate with the science of kyusho-jutsu.

It is our goal to provide a comprehensive curriculum to our members that will enable them to use pressure point techniques in an effective, yet responsible way for the purposes of self defense as well as healing. This program is designed provide training and support to association members who are interested in obtaining an instructor certification in Wheeler's Method of Pressure Points. The four main areas of study within this program are: 1) Traditional Kata & Kihon, In depth study of proper body mechanics and bunkai, 2) TCM: Knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Related Theories, 3) Energetics: The cultivation and manipulation of Qi for combative as well as healing purposes, 4) Various joint locking methods from Tuite-jutsu, Small Circle Ju-Jitsu, and Chin Na.
