T-20 is to a large extent a chance game. Two years before, India had won the T-20 world cup by some lusty heats from Yuvraj and a few fortunate coincidents. Else they could have been eliminated early.

 

That however was blissfully ignored and Dhoni became the Captain of the Century who then went on to usurp power in all other versions of the game and gradually edged out Saurav, a potential rival.

 

Now India is edged out of the next T-20 world cup early. This time the team was not too different (in fact, it may be a better team), but the chance events went against them. In a chance game that's bound to happen. But as Dhoni & Co. had bragged a lot about their earlier success, they cannot defend themselves saying that truth now.

 

I wish Dhoni now to face the same fate as he had subjected Saurav to.
