Now all those who owe their career to Sourav Ganguly like sehwag, harbajan n
zaheer khan are coming out and openly criticising chappel saying the same things
we hv been talking abt ever since ganguly was removed from captaincy and then
from the team in 05. If these same team had got together and protested then,
probably ganguly would hv felt vindicated. When the team revolts that too
against a foreign coach, I dont think BCCI wld hv suspended them. At that pt of
time, they all left ganguly to suffer alone and then make a comeback.
Still I hvnt come across anyone from his old team coming out and praising abt
his comeback - we all know how difficult it is to make such a king of all
comebacks from that kind of a situation when nobody wanted him. His comeback is
definitely a lesson for all to keep going when chips are down and never get
demoralised.
(If one notices, chappel has actually targetted those who are supposed to be
close to ganguly like sehwag/bhajji/zaheer/yuvraj etc while he supported
irfan/dhoni/raina etc.)
they all keep praising sachin even when he is out of form since that wld please
those in the BCCI.
Ganguly probably understands the sheer politics that dominate indian cricket and
hence is quite supportive of his old team members.
