Those who have seen Dada batting in the last two ODIs against Ntni and
Nel must have felt he was not at his best. Even in the ODIs when he
did well he has taken more to time to get settled. It has been oft
said he is best agains spinners and is susceptible to the fast ball
swinging/turning away from the off stump.

Then one wonders why he prefers opening innings instead of batting
lower down at 4 or 5? (like he does in tests) That is when the
spinners are brought in.

The puzzle is - his greatest innings have been while opening the
innings including the ones overseas.

Can any one throw light on this?
