I'm Sifu Phillip Redmond and have been studying Wing Chun from Wing Chun Sifu from different lineages since the early 1970's. The WCKCG is for ALL WC practitioners. It's a good way for people from all Wing Chun lineages to discuss what we all love doing without the politics of many Wing Chun forums/lists/groups. The purpose of this group is to discuss Wing Chun combat effectiveness with regards to full contact competitive fighting, and combat in the streets. Anyone is welcome regardless of their Wing Chun lineage. In my eyes we are all one family. I believe Wing Chun is a very effective combat system ad we need to be able to deal with all forms of combat be it boxing, grappling, edged weapons, or whatever. There are enough Wing Chun groups that deal with Wing Chun history, and other non-combat related subjects. On this group we will stick to discussions relating to combat techniques, conditioning, and training methods.

EVERY MEMBER IS REQUIRED TO POST A CLIP OF THEMSELVES "DOING" WING CHUN.
It doesn't have to be a knock down full contact clip but something of you doing Wing Chun. This will keep out the Wing Chun voyeurs and trolls who criticize clips of others while showing nothing of themselves. You will be required to send a clip of yourself to sifupr@gmail.com before you can be admitted to the group. If you have a clip too large to send you can upload it to youtube and send the link.
