Just a quick note or two about the weekend. 

 

First, I really appreciate how cooperative the teams where about helping keep the lodge clean and not giving the neighbors little reason to complain.  Sky Tavern is unique facility to the conference and it will only be available as long as it is cared for by us when it is used.  We tried to put on as racer friendly as an event as possible (hurray for 10 am xc starts!!!) and Sky Tavern is a great place to do just that. 

 

Second, good luck to Wes on getting better who went over the bars on the dh.  No one likes to see racers laying on the ground with neck braces.  Hopefully, Parkfield injuries will be at a minimal. 

 

Third, results have been sent and should be posted by mid-week.  Times are included for xc, sd, and dh. 

 

Fourth, as luck would have it, it sounds like it poured rain on Sky Tavern today.  If it only would have happened last week.  Oh well.
