Hi Everybody,

This is a reminder for everybody to check their collegiate licenses
and make sure your mountain bike categories are correct. If you feel
you are in the wrong category please submit an upgrade request through
your USA Cycling online account. Two valid reasons for upgrades are:
Your NORBA category is higher than the equivalent collegiate category
that is listed on your license or you have raced in previous mountain
bike seasons in a category high than is listed on your license. If
you are using the second reason please include a race resume of your
previous season's efforts. If you take care of this now it will save
everybody including yourself a lot of pain during registration on race
day.

Second this year marks the second and final year collegiate mountain
bike nationals will be held in Banner Elk, North Carolina. If any
schools are interested in hosting mountain bike nationals for the 2009
and 2010 season please contact me and I will pass on the information
necessary to submit a bid for this race. I am not sure the last time
the west coast held a mountain bike nationals so with all the great
riding we have out here it would be nice to change that!!
