Some last-minute changes. Not everyone will see this before the
races, so we'll post the news in the morning at the race, too.
Due to unexpectedly high MC/MD pre-reg, we're running separate
categories at BOTH the road race and the crit. The MD will do the
same distance as the MC for the road race, and will go off
immediately after the Men's B's on Saturday morning, at 9:16 a.m.
For the crit, the MD will start the racing at 10 a.m. The other
categories will be shortened by a few laps/minutes each to make room
for the Ds. All races will still meet USCF/WCCC upgrade requirements.
These changes were made with rider safety in mind. We currently have
40+ MC registered and 30+ MD, so there is plenty of room for day-of
registration. All other fields have room as well.
Again, my apologies for the repeated last-minute changes on all of
this. It's great to have such a big crowd for a collegiate race and
we're all really looking forward to this weekend.
Regards,
Evan
