Having problems with message search?
I beg to differ on the late flyer posting
penalty for UC Irvine. Attached is the original email sent to Gabe
Moy. Note the ‘sent’ date of 3/9/06. Our race date was
4/8-9/06. Thus, our flyer was both posted on our website and send to the WCCC
website operator well before the 21 day deadline (6 days by my count).
Although I cannot prove it, I do believe our flyer appeared on the WCCC website
within this time as well. I hope Gabe can corroborate this. Thank
you for removing our late flyer penalty. Sorry about any misunderstanding
and please tell me if I am missing anything.

PS There is an interesting conundrum in WCCC
rule #5.2.8 – a strict reading seems to indicate that not submitting any
flyer is cheaper then posing one late.
