The Wayne Valley-Passaic Valley game has been post poned already! They spend all this $ on a new "all whether" field and they post pone after the first drop falls. PV was renting lights. Guess they don't want to spend the $ if nobody is going to come. Tell those towns to buck up join the 21st centure and get lights. Aint like it used to be when men were men and they played in the mud.

Olson has plenty of faults. But he won't shreik from the rain. Neither will Miello. I expect that game to be played.

Howard,

Some Valley kids did put up their posters inside Wayne Hills a few weeks ago.  Not a rumor...fact!

Not a big deal if that's all it was...a silly prank...boys will be boys, I guess.

No clue about DePaul.

Rich

Glad you specified that it's a "rumor" since that all it appears to be.

Why don't you start this rumor - DePaul stole the posters. They have a bigger axe to grind with Olson. Wasn't Olson the one who said DePaul was illegally recruiting and based his hole argument on the fact that "people don't suddenly get religous in the 8th grade." Maybe people who "suddenly get religous" are more prone to sin and therefore more likely to have stolen the posters.

When due 8th graders start signing? Maybe that's when Olson will go off from his bully pulpit again!

Sounds like a teenage prank. If it's more serious, have charges been pressed? Have the kids been apprehended? There are camera in the schools right? Has the press picked up this story? Haven't seen a thing. If it was serious, I think there would have been some news and not just rumors.

It also sounds like a "few bad apples." You can't blame the entire Wayne Valley community for something a band of a few kids did.

This will sound like lunacy but does Bergenfield have a shot at ending
the Wayne Hills streak. The reason I ask is because Mahwah was
supposed to be good this year and Bergenfield gave them a game last
week.

North Jersey sports.com didn't cover a game on the opening weekend!
Very, very weak!

unbeleivable! The Bergen Record goes through all these compilations
and determines that Wayne Valley is a preseason No. 8. Wayne Valley
loses to Clifton, a team the Record has at No. 12. And Valley plummets
out of the Top 25! They lost 17 spots! The record is a joke.

Nice job by Wayne Hills winning their 40th game in row! Another win
for Olson and the troops over the home of the blind. Ramapo and Mahwaw
will both beat Hills this year. The streak ends next Saturday!

Wayne Valley has a nice team, but DePaul may just be the team to beat
in Wayne this year.
