Hello all,
Saturday, May 16th, Catonsville, MD (Sunday, May 17th for semi's/finals if there
are too many teams to run this tournament in a day as we have the last two
years). Please respond as to your intensions for this tournament. If you
are not sure you'll have your team together by then, that's fine, just let me
know. Let me know if you're definitely in, maybe in or definitely out. With
your response include.. Your Name:Your School:Which division/s your school
will be fielding a team for: 1) Open (guys and/or girls, no ratios on the
field)2) Mixed (ratio of 4 guys and 3 girls or vice versa on the field, offense
dictates the girl/guy 4/3 ratio, the defense has to match)3) Girls (all girls)

One thing all players at the HS Championships will have do do prior to playing
is to join the UPA. It's required of all players for insurance compliance among
other things. Many tournaments throughout the year require all players to be UPA
members so their tournament can be covered by the UPA insurance policy.
*** Membership is $20.00 for youth players. Here is the link to

*** Roster - Each team will need to fill out a team roster; a medical form and a
chaperone form. Here is the link for dealing with that.

*** There will be a tournament team entry fee also. The team entry fee will be
as minimum as possible to cover the costs of water, facilities, etc. This is not
a for profit tournament, in fact we usually lose money. If you have a team
contact from a HS not listed in the header, please pass it along to me so they
can get added to this distribution list and recieve upcoming info about the
State Championships. This list is also useful for you to get a hold of current
team contacts in the state that you might like to get together with for an
informal scrimmage. If you are no longer the contact for your team, plaease send
along the new contact.
*** I ordered about 75 extra HS Championship discs which will be for sale (see
attachment) at the tournament for very low cost.
