1) All of the items on the list are flexible. We want you at the meeting whether or not you have the calendar, the coach or the cash.
2) You should pay before the games start. But we have like a month for that. That way you can raise a team, get them to pay some dues.
3) I dont get the money. WAFC doesn't make any profit. All this money comes back to you. Mainly it comes back to you in the form of grass and plastic, ie fields and discs.
4) If we want other stuff we just need to ask for it. They folks in charge there really want to support us. They have offered to host a party for us, renting out a venue or something. Come with good ideas of what they can do for us and I'll pass it on.
5) For context WAFC charges regular adult teams 300$ per season. And those teams just get games, no stack of discs. I charge my players 200$ EACH for the spring season. (that pays for uniforms, bus trips to ohio, etc.). We used to charge 20$ a season but our vision for our team has grown. We wanted to do more, be more and that growth has required us to make these commitments.
6) It hurts a little bit to put yourself out there, but if this is something important to you, if you love playing ultimate then you should just bit the bullet and get the money. Do whatever it takes. Ask you parents, bust open your piggy bank, pimp out your freshmen.
