I appreciate Einstein letting me know that I may have to retool the Div 3 bracket.
Anybody else going to have any trouble bringing a team this weekend should let me know asap.
If need be I will shuffle divisions to keep the numbers even.
I rather have a divison with 6 than two divisions with 7's.
Also important to note - Division 3 will be playing at Montgomery Hills
(2010 Linden Lane in Silver Spring, take a lot of lefts to get around behind the Jewish Center it now is, or see directions on a previous post)

1. Summer League Registration is Now Open
We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for all summer leagues. The deadline is midnight the night of May 30th. Since we have to conduct an advanced draft and assign teams in order to start the season on time, no late registrations will be accepted.

This year we are offering the following leagues:
Corporate League - THE WAFC Summer Corporate League is open to Ultimate teams in the DC metro area affiliated by a common employer or alumni of a school. Corporate league is NOT summer clique league. Most games will occur on Monday and Thursday evenings. There are three divisions of corporate (A - most advanced, B - intermediate, C - least experience). Games will start the week of June 9th.
Rec League - Rec league is open to any player. Advanced players are encouraged to play but should expect to captain and/or mentor newer players. Games will be primarily Monday and Tuesday evenings with probably a couple of weekend games. Games will start the week of June 9th.
Intermediate League - Intermediate league is open to any player but is geared toward the intermediate player. Games will be primarily Wednesday and Friday evenings with probably a couple of weekend games. Games will start the week of June 16th.
Advanced League - The advanced league is geared toward advanced players. It will also occur primarily on Wednesday and Friday evenings with probably a couple of weekend games. You CANNOT participate in both advanced and intermediate leagues. Games will start the week of June 16th.
Weekend League - The weekend summer league is new this year since we have a ton of weekend permits. It is open to any player, but should be seen as a sort of rec league where all levels are welcome. Advanced players are also welcome but should be prepared to captain or mentor newer players. Games will be on Saturdays and Sundays. The first games will be Flag Day weekend.

Everyone can and should play Rec.
Studs and captains should put their names in for advanced.
You might end up in intermediate, that's up to the captains, it will still be good.
You and your alumni can put a team into Corporate.
If you have a lot of good alumni you could consider A division, otherwise stick with B or C divisions.
Corporate league will be co-ed so you will need to talk to girls to participate, hope you've got your cooties vaccine.
Games are generally 5:2 or 4:3 so you'd want a minimum of 3 girls on your roster, at least 2 coming to each game.
I know nothing about weekend play except that I expect it will be hot.
