I have tried to engineer in some double headers, use the fields to capacity.
So look to see if your team has such an engagement.
I have discs. I will give each team 5 this week if you have paid and gotten your waivers in.
I will give you more in the future if you meet specific milestones:
Next week, up to 5 discs, one for every family you bring to watch and cheer
In 2 weeks, 2 discs, have a copy of a roster with all your players names, grades, phone numbers, and emails.
In 2 weeks, 3 more, have your team be composed of people who will be around next year to keep you club going. If you have been recruiting you should have at least half you team made up of these people. If so they will get you 3 more discs, bringing the total you can recieve to 15.
Those are your goals for the next 2 weeks, bring parents, be organized, recruit young players.
I will reward your accomplishments with plastic.
The weather is still not my friend. Call the hotline. If we are cancelled again we might just meet up at some yet undisclosed location and rampage. 25 teams of kids with crowbars could do a lot of damage. We could level 2 or 3 suburban blocks and then use the land to make our own all weather, no permit necessary fields. Stay tuned.
