Just wanted to get this out there early on. Watkins Mill will be
hosting a tournament this year on Saturday March 22 (the second day of
spring break). This prabobly takes the proverbial cake for earliest
announcement but I just wanted to give all the teams a heads up so they
can mark their callendars and whatnot. Last year we organized a small
tournament in about a week to get in some ultimate during the 2 week
break in games that comes with spring vacation, and while it was really
fun, this year we are trying to make it bigger. I am trying to make
this tournament as accesible as possible by not requiring UPA
membership, and hopefully making it free. Its just gonna be a really
fun and chill day of ultimate. Its gonna be a WAFC sponsored event so
any team in the league with waivers on file and whatnot can
participate. Hopefully all the team cans make it. If anyone has any
questions or thinks their team can come just contact me.
