As I have mentioned before there is no Juniors league in the fall.
Teams are encouraged to play in WAFC clique leagues.
Individuals are encouraged to play in WAFC rec league.
Registration for both of those are ending immediately, so get on it.
Youth specific opportunities can be found at the UPA tournament site

Currently its pretty thin, but as school starts stuff will start showing up there.
My team is planning on going to
KitKat in Philadelphia Oct 27th,
Tidewater Tune Up Nov 10 -11th
Sue Inge in Richmond Dec 8th.
We may also add the Pennsbury Fall Brawl depending on when that is. I'll get more info out about those tourneys when it becomes available.
As for DC based youth ultimate we have 3 Pre-Spring Activities that are in the works:
1) September 23rd - "The September Sombero Smackdown"
Basically its a hat tournament except instead of drawing names from a hat, we'll use a sombero because that alliterates. And alliteration is awesome. Need a I mention that the September Somebero Smackdown is happening on Sunday at Silgo in Silver Spring...
2) A "tryout" for those interested in applying to tryout for the junior national team.
In order to represent the USA at the World Championships in Vancouver in 2008 you have to make the team. In order to make the team you have to get selected from the folks at tryout camp. In order to get to offical tryout camp you will need reccomendations from other ultimate players who can speak with authority about your qualifications. And that's where this event will help out. Although I am not an official part of the junior national team committee/process I can help write reccomendations. Getting all the top players together for a little scrimmage/workout should be fun anyway.
3) UPA coaching clinic. Got a teacher at your school or adult in your community who is helping your program? Turn them into a UPA Certified Ultimate Coach by sending them to this event. We have applied to host a clinic next Jan/Feb. If our application is approved the UPA will send some ultimate guru to DC to teach others how to teach ultimate most effectively. Not only will this help struggling programs improve, it is going to be required for schools competing at the highest levels. If we dont get a clinic its likely Baltimore or Richmond will so stay tuned to find out when/where this event will be.
