good to hear from you.
I'm am always glad to hear of more ultimate teams starting, especailly here in VA.
where did you learn to play/how much experience do you have?
how many players do you have? how many females?

most WAFC JR league events happen in the spring.
this year we are hoping to put on a fall hat tourney as well.

Here's what else is going on:
WAFC corporate leagues: Saturdays Sept - Early Nov (this is coed, generally 5:2, so you need at least 3 or 4 women)
WAFC Rec  league: Sundays Sept - Nov (you enter in groups of 2 or 3 and get put on a team, a great way for newer, smaller teams to get exposed to new ideas, learn Zone)

Kit Kat in Philly October 27th (organized by PADA, 1 day 3 divisions so you can find an appropriate matchup)
Tidewater Tune Up in Williamsburg area mid Nov (a 2 day, multi state event)
Sue Inge Invitational in Richmond early Dec

when the time comes, we'll be getting more info out about all these events on the WAFC jr page
in the mean time teams are welcome to schedule scrimmages against eachother.
If you get a matchup lined up and need field space let me know.

Subject: Ultimate Junior League

Hey Dave~
I'm Dominic Condello and I go to Mclean high school in Mclean VA. Last spring we started an ultimate club in june and found that all the leagues were already in session or over. This year we plan to start early. We know you run a spring high school league and are extremely interested about being in the league. In the mean time though, what is the fall season like? The guys are sort of itching for some games so hopefully you could help me out with any information for the fall season and then we will talk about the spring in the winter or at the information session I think I saw on the yahoo group somewhere. Thanks for all your help.
-Dominic Condello
