Subject: CrossOver Challenge
Some of you might have seen the listing on the UPA scorereporter site for this tournament already, but here is your invitation to the tournament. The CrossOve Challenge Ultimate Tournament will be held on April 21, it is a 1 day, 8 team tournament. The fee is $100 with checks made out to CrossOver Ministries, this fee should be tax deductible because CrossOver is a non-profit organization. LC Bird and Godwin High Schools are hosting the tournament. Held at Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Va I know that there are some other better established and more competitive tournaments on the same weekend, so if you want to send a B-team or a team made up of back-ups to get more experience that is fine. A few f my top players won't be able to make it, and I am thinking of having a split squad. The tournament is being held in conjunction with a 5k walk/run and a family fun day. I see this as a fun tournament to help increase the awareness of the sport in Va. We are planning on having a long break in the middle so your teams can check out the other activities going on (I think there will be a rock wall, arcade games, and some other fun games). I am also hoping to have some more Ultimate stuff going on (pull contest, trick throws contest). CrossOver Ministries is a non-profit Christian organization that helps start and run free clinics. For more information on them please go to www.crossoverministry.org. We have 5 spots left, if you are interested and can make it let me know and I can make sure that you get all of the waivers and schedule. Also, if you are interested in the 5k or 15k check out the website. If you have questions please let me know. Nick Ligatti Coach - Skyhawk Ultimate Club LC Bird High School
