You've already heard about the HAT tourney my school will be hosting in late Sept, a good way to start your team off. This event here might be a good capstone, way to end your fall season. Williamsburg is less than 3 hours away, you could make a sweet overnight trip of it. You can end the season testing your team against other schools from VA, North Carolina and who knows where else.
You'll have to spend some money but its the sort of thing parents pay for.

Subject: High School Ultimate Tidewater Tuneup
Coaches/Captains, I am writing to inform you that Woodside Ultimate will be hosting another High School Open tournament this fall. Tidewater Tuneup will be a 2 day full sized tournament with 16 teams. I was able to secure a state park outside of Williamsburg, VA that will accomodate a tournament of this size. I have posted the tournament on the UPA tournament website( http://www2.upa.org/scores/tourn.cgi?div=17 )...as it will be a UPA sanctioned event. It will take place over Veterans day weekend, the 11th and 12th of November. I am putting an information letter together to send to any team that is interested. Spots will be secured for the first 16 teams to tell me they are coming and that send in their entry fee of $150. I wanted to make sure the Coaches and Captains that are local were made aware of the tournament at an early date. If you are interested in possibly attending Tidewater Tuneup, please reply to this email stating what team you represent and that you are interested in recieving the information letter that provides all the necessary details/hotels/travel info/forms/UPA waivers/address to send check to/etc. I apologize if this email was sent to you twice.
