Hi Folks
Sometimes I think that once you understand the principals of Wado
then all that is needed is time to learn how to put these principals
into practise. Perhaps this explains Sensei Suzuki’s “practise,
practise, practise maxim”.
Now I if you are planning to take your ‘fighting system’ to the west
in the time of Bruce Lee you need to take the best fighters with
you. As they mature hopefully the principles your system is based on
will be transmitted.
That Shiomitsu and others matured in the West and had to fight to
make their name is no problem for me. I am here to learn the
principles of Wado and someday master it!
My only fear is maturity without knowing the principles.
