Junzuki

Probably beating a long dead horse, but no one else has posted recently so here
goes.

I started my first Shotokan class tonight. While I'm training Shotokan, it will
never be my end goal; I'm still a Wado guy, but this is what's here.

Understanding that the internal dynamics of Shotokan and Wado can be completely
different.. I at least want to make sure my Wado knowledge is sound while I'm
learning the Shotokan technique so that I might better unlearn at a future point
or at least make a distinction so that I'll know when I'm punching like a Wado
student and when I'm punching like a Shotokan student.

Understanding that the internet is a necessarily limited format and the text of
the forum even more so, I would still love for someone to explain as fully as
they can what goes into a good Junzuki. From hand placement, to length of
stance, to position of the feet, to positioning of the knees and elbows, the way
the hips move, every single little detail.

Obviously what I would prefer is about a 3 day clinic that covers nothing more
than Kihon, but this is what I've got.

Any bites?

Also, if anyone has enough familiarity with Shotokan to compare and contrast the
Oi-juki (I think that's what they call it?) to the Junzuki, I'd appreciate that
as well.

Thanks,
Ryan
