Dear W-L Crew athletes and parents,

Breaking update!  Due to the construction we need to move the car wash to the Stafford street entrance (closest to the parking deck).  To catch all the traffic we especially need rower/coxswain help at the close intersections to grab attention.  If you have not yet RSVPed – please do so to Will Dickinson at liv2skate01@...!  You need to sign it at the main site to be recorded as having worked hours.

Our first car wash of the season is this Saturday, from 9AM to 1PM, on the STAFFORD Street side of W-L. 

ROWERS/COXSWAINS:  We are asking that you work at least 2 hours on Saturday.  The early shift will be 8:45AM to 11AM, and the late shift will be 10:45AM to 1PM.  To make sure we have coverage, please contact co-captain Will Dickinson to reserve a spot on the early or late shift.  You are welcome to work both shifts and earn more fundraising credits (typically at least $10/hour, depending on customers and staffing).  Please send an email to Will at liv2skate01@... to reserve your spot!   This is a great way to get a jump on your fundraising requirement for the season ($400 for returning rowers).

PARENTS:  Thank you to those who have volunteered to bring food and beverages.  Please feel free to drop those off starting at 8:45AM.  Additionally, if you can stop by and help at all during the event we can always use one or two parents for relief during the event.  Please feel free to come by and check to see if we could use your help! But even if you cannot stay, please come by with your dirty car ... and spread the word among your neighbors!  Also if you belong to a neighborhood listserve – please send an email about tomorrow’s event to spread the word!
