W-L Crew athletes and parents,
Our
first car wash of the season will be held this Saturday, from 9AM to
1PM, on the Quincy Street side of W-L.
ROWERS/COXSWAINS: We are asking
that you work at least 2 hours on Saturday. The early shift will be
8:45AM to 11AM, and the late shift will be 10:45AM to 1PM. To make sure
we have coverage, please contact co-captain Will Dickinson to reserve a spot on
the early or late shift. You are welcome to work both shifts and earn
more fundraising credits (typically at least $10/hour, depending on customers
and staffing). Please send an email to Will at liv2skate01@... to reserve your
spot! This is a great way to get a jump on your fundraising
requirement for the season ($400 for returning rowers).
PARENTS: We could
still use a Parent Lead for this weekend. I have an offer for the morning
shift so if there is anyone available for the 2nd shift (approximately
11AM to close) please let me know! Additionally, if you can stop by and
help at all during the event we can always use one or two parents for relief
during the event. Please let me know if you could hang around for an hour
or two during the event. But even if you cannot stay, please come by with
your dirty car ... and spread the word among your neighbors!
