Hello everyone,

Much to my relief (and Tom Waits), we had some hardy souls show up last week at 9am for Mulch sales (although the numbers resembled a Rudy Guilani campaign event :>).

Per my email of last week, and pursuant to our sales plan, once again I will be at Washington-Lee on the Quincy Street door, at 10am (NOTE THE TIME CHANGE), organizing neighborhood canvassing activities. Any and all rowers who are willing to get out and help the effort are welcome. 

There will be lots of hot chocolate, extra forms and a neighborhood map to get everyone oriented. Again, any and all parents that can support the effort in driving rowers around would be greatly appreciated! So come one, come all. We have a limited number of bags - at last count we have already received orders for over 1,700 bags, or a little over 30%, which is about what we got last year from the mailing alone, which means we really need to get some *active* rower participation to get to out goal of 5,200. 

SPECIAL OFFER HAS BEEN EXTENDED! With the slow turnout last week, I still have lists, by neighborhood, of past customers who are not assigned rowers for credit. Rowers who show up TOMORROW will get these lists on a first come first serve basis.  Some of these folks have already ordered, but there are many, many who have not -- some of who have ordered bags by the dozens in the past.

Mulch Madness day is Saturday, March 1 - exactly one month from Saturday.

So, Remember:
1. This Saturday February 2 at 10am at Washington-Lee (Quincy Street side)
2. Rowers wear as much W-L Crew / W-L gear as possible!!!....It always helps to look the part...
3. Have them bring forms with THEIR names on already affixed...that definitely helps...
4. If you have one, a clipboard with a writing implement or two
