This is a mandatory meeting. We are encouraging everyone to pay his
or her $300 dues at this meeting. This helps us start out the year
positive and give us the funds to purchase the poinsettias and help
out with the money we need for our 2 new boats!

There is a limited amount of scholarship money that can go toward the

W-L Crew is hosting a BBQ for the W-L Crew Alumni!!!
Rowers are needed to do several jobs:
Tour guides of Potomac Boat Club
Check in desk-welcome Alumni (and 4 classes of W-L on their
reunion weekends) and take money and update databas
Sell crew gear and posters
Bring side dishes and desserts
Stay with a quantum boat on the dock and answer questions

Parents are needed to help set up and grill, and send and arrange
food just like one of our home regattas. We also need to haul away
our own trash. (PBC is having several events in a row)

Cost for this event is $15.00 per person. Any one signing up EARLY and
working at this event will not be charged.

This is the first time the boosters will be hosting this event. It
has the potential to be a fun and profitable fundraiser and a way of
connecting the past to the present of W-L Crew. The Crew Alumni
really like to hear about the current team. Some of the old stories
are really great. Many of the Alumni have stories of the Henley
Regatta and of Charlie Butt when he was a young man.
There is a long and proud history of W-L Crew and a sense of family
that can be nourished and benefited by all.
