Players,

The City of Scottsdale is having a grand opening for the new Cap Basin
Sports Complex (site of Regionals) this Saturday night (7-9 pm) and VOTS
has been invited out to set up field as a demonstration. I need a
volunteer or two to act as "clinic leaders" for any attendeess interested
in learning more about ultimate. It will also be an opportunity for an
open scrimmage on what should be the nicest fields you've ever played on
locally. Please email if you are willing to be a "leader" or would come
out for a saturday night scrimmage.

Second, I received info from the City of Tempe about setting up a booth at
their Halloween event on Tuesday, oct 31. If you have any ideas for a game
or someway to promote ultimate (i suppose more to the parents), please let
me know. This will be a league night, so even if you are interested you
may not be available to staff the booth, but that can be resolved after
we have the booth concept.
