Players –

Come on out to the fields at Diablo on Tuesday night to watch the Winter Competitive League Finals, and you could go home with a pocket full of cash.

While the teams on the field will be battling it out for the title, Fantasy Finals players will have the opportunity to wage a sideline war of wits, picking a roster to out-perform the competition.  The rules are simple:  $1 per entry, winner takes the pot.  Each Fantasy Roster consists of 7 players (5 men, 2 women) from either or both of the two teams playing in the game.  (That’s The Hebrew Hammer and the Disciples of Disc versus The Return of Herbert Spliffington, and rosters are available here:  http://www.vots.org/league/winterCompetitive2004/teams.shtml .)  Players get points added for goals thrown or caught and defensive plays, and get points deducted for drops and bad throws.  The Fantasy Player whose roster of seven accumulates the most points is the winner.

The Fantasy Finals will be administered by Ken and JT, so if you want to get in on the action, you need to see one of them prior to the start of the game.  The decisions of these judges will be final, although you are welcome to attempt to sway their judgment by any readily available means.

So come on out, cheer on the teams, root for your players, and help make the evening a success for everyone concerned.  Remember, heckling is always more fun when you’ve got money riding on the results!
