Hi All-
This is another sad day for the Ultimate family....Actually Larry took up
Ultimate in Jr High. I coached him in '82 when we put together the jr High
league in Mesa. He was about 12 when he 1st played and he was the only kid
on the team who could throw when we began.....so all of the kids would dump
to him and go long for him to sit back and huck...It was really something to
see though, because he was wayyyyy overweight when he began and then by high
school he became a slim trim Ultimate stud.
I often think of him and those days 20 yrs ago with very fond memories....I
guess he just beat us all, going deep to giving Kahuna a high-five in the
endzone of heaven.....

Subject: Sad News re Larry Heater
Hello All,
Larry Heater passed away in Tucson last night. He collapsed after practice
and never regained consciousness. Evidently, it's believed that he had a
heart attack. Larry was about 36. Larry took up ultimate in the Tempe area
at age 16. He moved to Tucson in the early 90's. The early word is that
his funeral will be late next week in the Tempe area.
